Good morning from I Am The Storm Yoga.
At first glance, it might look like our classes are all about the ladies—but I’m here to tell you they’re not.
Mental health affects us all, directly or indirectly, at some point in our lives.
If you’re a man—whether you’re facing mental health challenges or not—there is a place for you here.
Yoga isn’t just “woo-woo” stuff. In my previous career, I was a Physical Training Instructor in the Metropolitan Police’s Riot Squad (Territorial Support Group). I understand the value of strength, control, and discipline—but also the absolute need for recovery, regulation, and release.
I’ve considered running a men-only group at the mill, but honestly, I think it’s time we integrated. We run an inclusive space—and you are truly welcome.
Come on your own, with a partner or a friend. Join a class or ask about private sessions. Have your first class for free.
If you’ve been thinking about doing something like this but keep talking yourself out of it—drop me a line:
We won’t pry, and nothing personal needs to be shared.
This is simply a space to help you find a bit more calm, to move, breathe, and discover healthier ways to process anger and everything else that can feel too big or messy to carry alone.
Because pushing it all down doesn’t work forever.
Let’s do this differently. Together.
