Welcome to a new chapter.

Hello, I'm Clare. I founded I Am The Storm Yoga in 2022, and it has been a whirlwind.

At the start of 2026 we became a community interest company and we have a beautiful community that has grown around us.

We have so much evolving, it is exciting times. I remain following a karma path of selfless service. Only in the last few years I have learned the need for strong boundaries, resilience, self-worth, and self-value, finding the balance between running the business and keeping genuine values at heart has been a bumpy ride at times. I'm proud of the strength and endurance I have found to get to this point.

With over a thousand hours in yoga teacher training, I pivoted after a policing career in London.
Retraining in yoga in 2022, I learned to teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, restorative yoga, breathwork, meditation, yoga for adults with special needs, aerial yoga, and yoga philosophy.

I always try my best to uphold and honour the roots of this ancient and sacred practice. Beyond the qualifications, I'm passionate about creating an inclusive space for all, somewhere you can be met exactly where you are, we invite you to explore your own unique journey of overcoming self-limiting beliefs through a practice that has completely changed me and transformed my life in unimaginable ways.

This is a fresh start, and I'm excited to see where it will take us all.

I Am The Storm Yoga - new energy, new chapter, same unstoppable spirit.

Yoga teacher, herbalist & naturopath in training

Laura

Yoga teacher

Hi, I'm Laura 👋🏼

I'm a yoga teacher, herbalist and naturopath in training, and mum to a little boy with a very cheeky grin.

I discovered yoga in my early twenties, in the middle of corporate London life and some real health challenges. One particular yin class changed everything, and I've been hooked ever since.

My classes are usually strong, playful and challenging, with a Hatha-influenced vinyasa flow and longer holds woven in to find those juicy bits of stillness too. All levels welcome.

I trained with Karuna Yoga in Lamu, Kenya, in 2019, and have since trained in breathwork with Oxygen Advantage and begun my perinatal training with Birthlight.

Alongside teaching, I'm studying Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy — the more I learn, the more I realise there is still so much to discover.

My own practice is strong and playful, with lots of balances and inversions. I run trails too, and yoga keeps me strong out there.

And since becoming a mum, I've learned a lot about slowing down, listening to my body and accepting that ten minutes is always better than none.

Oh, and little one? Born at 42+4 after five days of labour… apparently he was holding out for December's "Long Night" supermoon 🌙

So, that's me. I'm glad you're here. 🤍

Yoga teacher

Jas

I'm a 300-hour qualified yoga teacher, and found my love for yoga in my early twenties when I started to understand the magic it was bringing my life. Yoga continually allows me to step away from all of my main roles and to come back to myself. To me, yoga is so much more than movement - it's a way of cultivating presence, compassion and self-awareness in our everyday lives. I strive to embody these teachings beyond my own practice and I love to weave subtle elements of yogic philosophy into my classes, so my students also get to learn what yoga truly means!

MY PRACTICE

If im being honest, a majority of my time on the mat consists of inversions, balances, and heat building vinyasas. I'm a massive goal setter in my mat practice and I love having something to always work towards. I'm also an Aries and my dominant energy is definitely a pitta so I find it hard to slow down. However I don't neglect this as an importance and do dedicate practices to find stillness.

NO WAY

I can do 8 pull ups… but can barely open a jar!

  • 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training
  • Level 4 nutrition course (in progress)
  • 50-hour adjustment & alignment training (in progress)

Meet Tinneke

With over 20 years of experience teaching Physical Education & health in international schools, I have always embraced an active lifestyle and a passion for lifelong learning. Sport and movement have always been central to my life.

My journey with Pilates deepened after an injury following a kitesurfing holiday. During the rehabilitation, my Pilates studio supported my recovery and helped me continue moving while strengthening both my physical and mental well-being. This inspired me to pursue the Balanced Body Instructor training pathway in 2016.

I started teaching in Panama, owned a small home studio in Taiwan, and shared my passion in several boutique studios across the UAE.

Following my recent move to Europe and the UK, I am excited to continue spreading my love for Pilates and supporting others on their journey toward strength, balance, and overall well-being.
